It’s summer, and exfoliation is on our mind.  Show that skin if you like, and make it easy to keep it healthy with our super-exfoliating soaps! From subtle to serious to severe, there are lots of ways to exfoliate your skin.  Are you doing it?  Should you be doing it more?

So here’s the deal.  Exfoliating helps get rid of dead skin cells that are basically clogging up your pores.  Getting rid of that build up helps prevent acne, buildup, and ingrown hairs.  Not only does it reveal brighter, fresher skin, but it also encourages skin to keep regenerating new cells.

My personal favorite way to exfoliate is with our aptly-named Exfoliating Loofa Soap.   This bar of soap offers some incredibly effective scrubbing while the soap bar offers a really moisturizing clean.
Here’s the thing with our exfoliating Loofa soap:  for some of you, it’s just going to be too rough!   If you have delicate or super-sensitive skin, this may not be the thing for you (but don’t worry- we have gentle options to help you scrub away that dead skin).  Intended for feet, legs, arms, body, beards, and dirty hands– don’t use it on your face unless you have a beard.  I, like a lot of our customers, am obsessed with these bars.  I love them.  I love it all over my arms and legs to increase circulation.  I love them to prep skin for shaving or before fake tanning.   Do you have those annoying little bumps on the back of your arm?  They might be built up skin cells!  Try using our exfoliating Loofa Soap to lightly scrub them away and keep skin regenerating and fresh.

Tips for using Loofa Soap:

  • This might seem a bit obvious but use light pressure!
  • Run under warm water and allow to sit for a minute to soften.  Then use gentle, circular motions all over your legs, arms, feet, and wherever you need a good scrub.
  • Allow to dry between uses – don’t let it sit in water or the soap will begin to disintegrate.

If Loofa Soap is too hard for you, no worries!  Steer clear of it and opt for gentler forms of scrubbing!

I love citrus, fruity scents so I lean towards Blood Orange, Pink Grapefruit, and Peach Passionfruit.
These bars have such a strong following that we keep adding scents and now offer Loofas in 33 styles.  What’s your favorite?
